High-risk clause validation
Only risk_category = High is scored against the answer key. These deterministic category checks match the supplied synthetic labels; this is not an independent test of legal judgment or a statistical model.
Proactive renewal review
Not covered by the answer key. No precision or recall score is assigned. Every clause of an auto-renewing contract expiring within the forward-looking 90-day window is included for context.
Review definitions
High-risk means the supplied risk_category is High. The app does not infer risk from clause text. Proactive review requires auto_renew = Y and an end date from the reference date through 90 days later, inclusive. Past expiries are excluded. The reference date is the maximum start_date or end_date in the workbook, not today's date.
This dataset has no expiry after its reference date, so every qualifying renewal expires on that date. Expiry is a review trigger, not a cancellation deadline: notice requirements may fall earlier (one supplied summary specifies 120 days). No renewal, termination or legal decision is automated.
The workbook is embedded in this offline app. Changes to the Excel source require refreshing the embedded snapshot. All data is synthetic.
